A Place In The Sun star Scarlette Douglas has stated she was quickly taken to the hospital after experiencing some concerning symptoms.
The 36-year-old host noticed a 'tingling' and 'numbness' in her limbs and decided to go to the emergency room.
Scarlette provided an update on social media, as she goes through the process of freezing her eggs.
In her recent diary entries, she has been documenting her scans and blood tests, as well as sharing videos and explaining her daily injections.
However, she shared a concerning update in her latest post, writing: 'Day 14… sure I’m fine buuuut just want to be safe and assured!'
She said in the clip: 'I am hosting an awards show today, which means that in my break I’ll be running to the restroom here and gracefully doing one of my injections.
‘I have noticed over the last few days I’ve been getting like a slight numbing tingling sensation in my left arm and a little bit in my left leg, like a dead arm, dead leg, like when you sleep on something funny.
'Initially, I thought, that’s probably what it is but then of course Dr Google worried me and made me think it was something worse.'
She continued: ‘So I did call the clinic today, they said I need to get to A&E when I can, just to triple check everything’s okay, so I will be doing that after the award show tonight.
'I need to make sure I don’t have any blood clots and also to check for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.'
Reassuring fans, Scarlette added: 'Now I did only have a scan on Tuesday and that showed that actually everything was fine. So I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, but if you have been through this process and if you have noticed that as well, let me know. If you’re going through it and it hasn’t happened, I’m just letting you know it could be a side-effect.'
After looking up her symptoms online, she added it might be a side-effect of the 'excess amount of hormones'.
'I feel a lot better, I took some aspirin as well just in case it is a blood clot, I’m sure it’s not,' she added, concluding: 'Hopefully, it will be fine.'
Scarlette later took to Instagram with another update, sharing a picture on her stories from the hospital and confirming that she was feeling better.
Fans had rushed to the comments to share their support and well-wishes, with @natasha_haycocks writing: 'Fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about.'
'Good luck at the award ceremony and at a&e! Hope it’s nothing serious,' @cc_meme_time added.
Scarlette, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2022, announced she was undergoing the egg freezing process earlier this month.
'Ok gang, I have some news!!' she wrote, explaining why fans 'won’t see me on TV much over the next few months'.
Explaining why, she said: ‘Most importantly; I’M FREEZING MY EGGS! I hope you’ll all stay with me on the journey through this. It’s going to be an exciting ride.’
