Mark Pocan (b. August 14, 1964) is an openly gay politician and businessman who has served in the U.S. States House of Representatives, representing Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district, since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1999 to 2013.
The bills would increase discrimination in colleges and prohibit trans people from participating in certain sports leagues.
