A lawsuit claims that sexual abuse of children at Illinois juvenile detention centers has been widespread and systematic for many years. A complaint submitted on Monday in the Illinois Court of Claims describes troubling stories from 95 men and women who were housed at youth centers when they were kids. The reported abuse at nine youth centers occurred between 1996 and 2017.
