Do you have valuable old items at home? Come to Fallsington Library's first antique appraisal fundraiser on June 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to find out.
Locati Auction House from Pineville will do the appraisals at the event, which will take place in the library's second floor community hall. Michael Locati will start the program with a brief talk about current trends in antiques and their worth.
John Lopuszanski, a member of the Fallsington Library board, came up with the unique fundraising idea after seeing similar successful events at other nonprofit organizations.
Charlene Rendeiro, the director of Fallsington Library, aims to raise $1,400 or more from the fundraiser to help the library offer free family programs and services.
After his presentation, Locati will evaluate up to 40 items (excluding collectibles such as stamps, coins, sports cards, or jewelry).
All the money raised from the event will go to Fallsington Library.

About Fallsington Library
The Fallsington Library Company was established in 1800 and became a corporation in 1802. In 1879, the nonprofit organization moved into its Federalist-style building at 139 Yardley Ave. The second floor was used as a community hall, hosting concerts, plays, dances, meetings, and even gym classes for the Pennsbury School.
The Fallsington Library continues to proudly serve Fallsington and nearby communities. Besides being a lending library, it also offers interactive family programs and meeting space for public use in its historic building. The library's connection with the Bucks County Free Library gives patrons full access to the entire BCFL catalog.
