President Biden is speaking at an event in Wisconsin on Wednesday. to showcase a new, multibillion-dollar Microsoft AI facility. The project is expected to hire thousands of workers for construction and operation.
The location in Racine County, south of Milwaukee, allows the Biden administration to compare with former President Trump’s record. In 2017, Trump attended a groundbreaking event at the same spot for a Foxconn facility that never happened.
Biden's visit on Wednesday is his fourth to the battleground Midwest state. Recent polling shows the current president is slightly more than 3 points behind Trump in Wisconsin.
Biden is set to appear at 12:45 p.m. EDT.
