Susie Wiles, Chris LaCivita, and Tony Fabrizio, who are Trump's advisers, stated that his political operation is expected to have earned $76.2 million in April.
The anticipated earnings, initially reported by The New York Times, increased from March when the two organizations merged after Trump became the presumptive GOP nominee. brought in $65.6 million.
During a presentation to donors in Florida, advisers mentioned that the former president is leading in battleground states like Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia. They also argued that Virginia and Minnesota are not unattainable for Trump in November, citing private polling.
The increase in campaign funds comes as the former president spends most of his time in a New York courtroom, attending his ongoing hush-money trial four days a week.
Officials also mentioned that Trump will be increasing fundraising efforts during two upcoming Wednesdays, holding events in Kentucky and Ohio on May 15, and in Texas on May 22.
