Isabella Flanagan from Coronation Street has paid tribute to Savannah Kunyo, her co-star and close friend, who has departed the ITV soap.
This week, Savannah’s character Eliza Woodrow departed Weatherfield to live with her father Dom in Germany.
Eliza arrived two years ago after her mother and grandmother were sent to prison for the murder of Charlie Walter. Because Eliza didn’t have anyone to look after her, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) fought to gain full custody of the young girl.
Eliza then moved in with her grandfather at Number 6. At first, she struggled to adapt to life at Weatherfield High mainly because of Hope Stape (played by Isabella), who became envious of Eliza’s friendship with Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan).
Savannah and Isabella’s real-life relationship is very different from Eliza and Hope’s. In reality, they are close friends, and recently, Isabella paid tribute to Savannah after her departure from the cobbles.
Up Next
Isabella, who is the sister of William Flanagan (Joseph Brown) and
Emmerdale’s Amelia Flanagan (April Windsor), has portrayed Hope Stape since 2017. The young girl’s behavior has improved in recent months. As she has grown up, she has caused her parents Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) a lot of stress due to her troublesome behavior.
To name a few, she has been responsible for starting a fire in a flat, faking an animal bite on her arm,
concealing Joseph in the attic and threatening a group of school girls with a hammer. Yes, really.
A somber farewell!
