About 6.55 million individuals utilized trains for transportation within Bangkok, to other locations, and back to the city during the six-day Songkran period, showing a 21.22% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Department of Rail Transport.
Yesterday, 793,018 individuals utilized trains on the final day of the Songkran extended holidays, which was 10.55% lower than expected.
6,071,358 passengers utilized electric trains in Bangkok and its surrounding areas, including the Green, Blue, Gold, Yellow, Pink, Red, and Purple lines, as well as the Airport Link, while 485,323 individuals used the services of the State Railway of Thailand.
