BBC Morning Live star Rav Wilding has revealed he’s secretly split from his wife, after 12 years together.
The Crimewatch host, 46, announced the news on Instagram, confirming they separated last year.
He said: ‘For those asking questions myself and Jill amicably separated last year.
‘Our focus is co-parenting our hugely loved and beautiful daughter.’
Rav, a former police officer and detective for the British Transport Police, welcomed his daughter Poppy with Jill in 2020, after marrying in 2017.
Jill is a producer who has worked on the likes of Loose Women and Children In Need.
The pair are thought to have started dating in 2012, a year after Rav ended his relationship with Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton.
Though Rav shares adorable pictures with Poppy across social media, the star has mainly kept his relationship out of the spotlight.
In 2019, he candidly opened up on his lifelong battle with dyspraxia, saying how things ‘finally made sense’ when he was diagnosed with the condition later on in life.
‘I’m dyslexic as well, but dyspraxia is kind of like dyslexia with your hands,’ he explained.
‘My brain just does not work that way. And the only way I can do anything is if I can see it, visualise it, literally see it with my eyes, what I am supposed to do…
‘It’s just the way my brain works. It was kind of tricky.’
As well as fronting various segments on Crimewatch and Morning Live, as well as The One Show, Rav has also appeared on the likes of Strictly Come Dancing in 2009.
He’s also starred on celebrity versions of The Weakest Link, Celebrity Mastermind and Ready Steady Cook.
