This is the moment drones smashed into a building in Russia, some 700 miles from Ukraine’s border, resulting in a massive fireball.
Footage circulating on Telegram shows the aircraft heading towards an industrial site in Yelabuga, in the republic of Tatarstan. A massive explosion then happens, sending flames and debris into the sky, just a few meters away from where people are standing. Chaos engulfs at the scene as people run away from the site of the attack, while others are seen falling to the snow-covered ground.

Several people were injured in the blast, authorities in Yelabuga confirmed earlier this morning.
Tatarstan leader Rustam Minnikhanov’s press service said in a statement: ‘Drone attacks took place against factories in Tatarstan at Lelabuga and Nijnekamsk.’
Fire is still raging at the site, thought to be a dormitory on the territory of the local Special Economic Zone.
