Manchester United legend Roy Keane has suggested that Arsenal have a weak mentality and says he would never bet against Manchester City.
The Gunners are once again involved in a tense title race against Pep Guardiola’s men having pushed them all the way last season.
Liverpool are also in the fight for the title but Guardiola sees Arsenal as City’s main rivals for the top-flight trophy.
On the same day Arsenal travelled to the Etihad for a title showdown, Keane has explained why he still has doubts over their title credentials.
‘I don’t see Arsenal winning here today, I really don’t,’ Keane said on Sky Sports.
‘I just can’t see it. I still lack belief in this team that they can come and win here. It’s as simple as that.
‘We reflected on what happened last season. They’re a stronger squad now, a better squad. But there is still that doubt with Arsenal.
‘It’s the mental side of it. Can they come here and perform and beat Man City? The answer for me is still no. With Man City, I would never bet against them.’
Arsenal beat City at the Emirates back in October and also defeated them to lift the Community Shield in August.
The north Londoners are attempting to land their first Premier League trophy in 20 years while City have clinched five of the last six.
