Flames rose above a residential area last night as a massive fire engulfed a deserted barn.
Firefighters had to labor through the night to control the fire in Oldham, near Manchester, with video from the scene showing columns of orange smoke.
Six fire engines were called to the emergency in Royton first reported at 7.20pm yesterday evening.
The barn was completely destroyed after fire blazed through the timbers, with police and firefighters still there this morning to ensure the area was safe.
