In BISMARCK, N.D. President Joe Biden has won the Democratic presidential primary in North Dakota.
The state party revealed the results of the primary, which mostly used mail-in ballots. Ballots were sent to voters who requested them starting in February.
While seven other candidates were on the primary ballot, Biden's win was almost certain.
In the North Dakota Republican Party’s March 4 presidential caucuses, former President Donald Trump won, securing all 29 delegates.
Both Biden and Trump have earned enough delegates for their parties’ nominations, setting up the first presidential rematch election since 1956.
Sen. Bernie Sanders won the North Dakota Democratic caucuses in 2016 and 2020.
