Bill Maher is determined to make sure that former President Trump doesn't come back to the Oval Office.
Maher stated that he will do everything in his power to prevent Trump from winning again, but acknowledged that their influence is limited. in an interview with Variety that published Wednesday.
Maher, 68, mentioned that he has decided not to let Trump consume his thoughts like he did in the past.
He added, 'If he wins, he wins.'
Maher compared the country's polarization to a prison yard and noted that people tend to align with one side or the other.
He observed, “Everyone claims they want to be neutral, but they really just retreat to their respective corners.”
The liberal commentator, who has been a vocal critic of Trump, admitted that he is trying not to obsess over the outcome of the November election.
“So either Trump will win or he won’t,” Maher remarked.
He expressed, “And if he becomes president, he may cause havoc, but I can't be constantly worried about it.”
Maher has previously expressed personal fear of Trump and admitted to being unsure about what Trump would do if he were to serve a second term. said last year, “I don’t know what he would do in a second term.”
