Celebrity Big Brother star Louis Walsh has encountered a significant setback just before the upcoming final airing in a few hours.
The X Factor judge, 71, has received a lot of criticism for being included in the ITV reality show, where he competes against Fern Britton from This Morning, Nikita Kuzmin from Strictly, David Potts, and Colson Smith to become the champion of Celebrity Big Brother. Despite Louis sharing plenty of information and criticizing various singing icons during his time on the show, he has now faced a significant setback.
Despite being fast-tracked to the final – with viewers expressing anger and alleging it was a ‘setup’ – Louis is not expected to win.
The latest odds indicate that reality star
David is the leading contender, with Alex Apati of Ladbrokes stating: ‘It’s a close competition between Louis and David for this year’s CBB victory, but a late surge for the latter means he will enter tonight’s finale as the clear favorite to win it all.’ David is favored to win at odds of 4/9, while Louis is at 5/2, Nikita at 8/1, Colson at 25/1, and Fern at 33/1.

After and following his beloved ‘Mrs O’ Sharon Osbourne around the house in the earlier days of Celebrity Big Brother, Louis hasn’t formed strong bonds with all of the housemates, and clashed particularly with Zeze Millz revived his conflict with Cheryl.
He’s also disgusted viewers with his bad habits, shared some ‘home truths’ from old friend Sinitta, but was in last night’s episode. She reminded him to ‘be nice’ and reprimanded him for not helping with household tasks.

Meanwhile, former housemate Lauren Simon has stepped in to defend Louis against accusations of him falling asleep and neglecting chores.
She told Metro.co.uk: ‘In fairness, Louis is 71,’ Lauren told us. ‘Between 20 and 30 they can stay up all night and jump around, but as you get older you need your sleep, you’re tired, and you can’t be bothered playing stupid, immature games. Why should he make a cup of tea?’

Lauren went on to say that she now sees Louis as a ‘father figure’, stating: ‘I love Louis, he’s so sarcastic, he says what he wants and what he thinks, but then he winks with a smile on his face.
‘He reminds me of my father, he’s a father figure because he’s a mentor, I lost my father three years ago, so it was really nice to have that connection, he’s just naughty and so was my dad.’
She said, 'I immediately fell in love with him in a paternal way.'
The television show Celebrity Big Brother will be broadcast tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
