Nottingham Forest have told Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool need to know how much they have to pay to sign Murillo in the summer transfer window.
All three of the top Premier League teams are keeping an eye on the 21-year-old Brazilian center-back and Forest might have to sell because of money problems.
Murillo joined Forest in August from Corinthians and signed a five-year deal, but his strong performances in his first season have already attracted attention.
Forest have been given a four-point deduction for breaking financial rules – and are likely to appeal – but they plan to sell off players this summer to prevent further issues.
Forest has set a price for Murillo of over £50m for the skilled defender, as reported by The Telegraph.
Forest paid £11m for Murillo but believe he could eventually be valued at £70m.
Murillo has played 27 games for Forest at the City Ground and provided an assist in a 3-1 win over Newcastle United in December.
Murillo’s young age makes him very appealing to Chelsea, who want to focus on signing young players with long contracts in the Todd Boehly era.
But Arsenal and Liverpool are also looking to persuade Murillo – and they may be more attractive choices given Chelsea’s recent struggles.
Arsenal and Liverpool are currently in a tight battle for the Premier League title with Manchester City, while Chelsea is currently in 11th place.
