Harry and Meghan's life accounts on the official Royal Family website have been merged and abbreviated – with their shared entry placed alongside Prince Andrew’s.
Even after resigning as senior royals in early 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had separate pages detailing their life stories on the website.
However, this changed yesterday, when both entries briefly disappeared before reappearing together.
Their page now starts with: 'As announced in January 2020, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back as working members of The Royal Family.'
Even on Monday morning, the information about the couple no longer being senior royals was part of a large amount of text about their lives and work.
A full 14-paragraph page about Meghan’s support for various charities has been removed, and replaced with a single sentence listing some of the organizations she became a patron of during her time as a royal.
Harry's new joint biography consists of only five paragraphs – a significant reduction from his previous multi-page entry.
The couple are now located at the bottom of the site next to King Charles’s disgraced brother Prince Andrew.
Buckingham Palace stated that the Duke of York would step down from royal duties in January 2022, following revelations about his friendship with sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and a disastrous interview with Newsnight.
His biography on the Royal Family site does not delve into the details of his dramatic decline, simply including a link to the tweet that announced his removal from royal duties.
Nevertheless, his entry provides considerably more detailed information than Harry’s.
Last month, the Sussexes rebranded their website using their official titles instead of their Archewell business.
The new Sussex.com includes detailed accounts of both Harry and Meghan, in which he is labeled as 'a humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate, and environmental campaigner' and she is described as a 'feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity'.
