BC High has its next head football coach.
The school revealed on Friday morning that Paul Zukauskas, an alum and former head coach of Lawrence Academy, was hired to be the next football coach, replacing Ed Mantie who served for three years at BC High.
Tom Conley, the Athletic Director, expressed excitement in welcoming Paul back to BC High as the head football coach, noting his experience and dedication to guiding and mentoring student athletes.
Zukauskas, a former BC High student, was presented to the team on Friday morning. He had a successful career as an offensive lineman at Boston College and also played for the Cleveland Browns before coaching at Lawrence Academy.
Zukauskas served as head coach at Lawrence Academy from 2011-2017, achieving a strong record and multiple championships.
In a statement, Zukauskas expressed gratitude for the opportunity to return to BC High as head football coach and to give back to the community. He aims to inspire the next generation and help them achieve their goals, both on and off the field.
