Ian Happ, a player for the Chicago Cubs, bought a 3,395-square-foot condo in the West Loop for $3.09 million in December. The condo is in a new 16-story luxury building.
Happ, who is 29 years old, has been with the Cubs for seven years and was named an All-Star in 2022. He agreed to a three-year, $61 million contract extension with the team last year. None None
Happ's condo is one of 58 in the building and has three bedrooms, 3 ½ bathrooms, herringbone entry floors, arched doorways, high-quality kitchen appliances, custom cabinetry by Bovelli Custom Millwork, bathroom fixtures from Lefroy Brooks, and a living room fireplace from South Side fireplace manufacturer Atelier Jouvence.
Nancy Tassone, the real estate agent who helped Happ with the purchase, declined to comment.
The condo carries a $937 monthly homeowners association fee, as well as an unspecified property tax bill.
