Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg revealed on Monday that he is fighting prostate cancer.
The former Chicago Cubs great shared on his Instagram page that he recently found out about his metastatic prostate cancer diagnosis and has started treatment.
He mentioned, “We will persist in being optimistic, resilient, and committed to defeating this.” Sandberg This was included in his post.He added, “Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers during this challenging time for me and my family.”
