The Duchess of Sussex has started a new business with a fancy video on Instagram.
Meghan Markle’s new brand, American Riviera Orchard, is starting with a video of her cooking in a beautiful rustic kitchen, while a woman’s hands are arranging pink and white flowers.
Nine photos shared on the new Instagram profile’s grid make up the brand’s logo alongside the name ‘American Riviera Orchard Montecito’.
The biography of the Instagram page says the brand is ‘by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex’.
An informant told Page Six Style that the brand will be an extension of her former lifestyle blog The Tig.

A source said: ‘She’s been working on this for over a year and it’s all the things that are close to her heart — all the things she’s passionate about.’
The brand will focus on home, garden, food and general lifestyle products.
A trademark application obtained by Page Six Style shows that American Riviera Orchard will sell a wide range of home goods, including edible treats like jellies, jams and spreads and tableware staples such as cutlery, table linens and drinkware. Cookbooks are also included.
The brand’s website currently has very little available – just a picture of the logo and an option to sign up to a ‘waitlist’.
