Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin will appear on a one-hour talk show, starting on May 11, on Channel 11 and MCOT broadcast stations, to discuss his government’s performance and achievements.
The prime minister stated that the program will allow him to communicate with the people regularly, but it has not yet been decided whether the show will be aired weekly or monthly.
The format of the program, which is yet to be named, will change from time to time to provide some variety. The location of the talk show may also vary, depending on the situation, he added.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Secretary-General, Dr Prommin Lertsuridej, said that the program may initially be in a story-telling format, with the prime minister discussing various issues, including the government’s achievements and future plans.
He also mentioned that the prime minister would rather have a moderator, instead of a one-man talk show, and the moderators from TV stations will work on rotation.
Full details of the program are being worked on and are expected to be finalized soon.
