Sophia Hutchins, the rumored partner of conservative trans woman Caitlyn Jenner, recently rejected the rumors while using Jenner's previous name and misidentifying her in front of her 246,000 Instagram followers. Hutchins also recently worked for the transphobic conservative media outlet Fox News and is a board member of the Log Cabin Republicans, a group of LGBTQ+ conservatives who actively oppose transgender civil rights.
The conservative watchdog account @PatriotTakes pointed out that Hutchins recently used Jenner's previous name and misidentified her when responding to a 2019 gossip story. The story suggested that Hutchins and Jenner were planning to have a child together. In a recent Instagram video by Hutchins, she displayed an online article repeating the claim. The article's headline read, “Caitlyn Jenner & Sophia Hutchins ready to become moms together!”
In the video, Hutchins dismisses the tabloid's claim as “fake news,” saying, “Uhh, Caitlyn is my client. Caitlyn is also a very very good friend, of course. But [us] to become moms? What the hell? I mean, come on… good grief…. I’m not into Caitlyn and … I think Caitlyn, [previous name] whatever you want to call her, him has enough kids.”
In a subsequent video addressing the claim once more, Hutchins says, “I’m not really sure how the guys I’m dating are going to respond either if they see that gossip news story. Gosh, I’m not having a baby with anyone, let alone my client who is transgender. I mean, my god, what the f**k? Ugh.”
@PatriotTakes wrote, “Sophia seems disgusted at the idea of being with Caitlyn.”
In another X post, @PatriotTakes notes that Fox News invited her to the recent White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington D.C., even though the right-wing network has repeatedly demonized trans people. @PatriotTakes also posted two images of Hutchins extending her middle finger toward pro-Palestinian street protestors as she walked to the event.

Hutchins denies that she and Jenner have ever been romantically involved. The pair have been seen together on numerous occasions, including recently at the Los Angeles International Airport, heading to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Some media outlets, like Radar Online, have reported that Hutchins is Jenner’s girlfriend, whereas others, like the Daily Mail, have reported that they are just friends.
In mid-January, Hutchins reportedly attended former President Donald Trump’s celebration party after he won the Iowa caucuses. Trump rolled back numerous trans-related civil rights during his presidency, including banning trans people from the military. Trump surrogates Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) both made anti-trans statements while stumping for Trump in Iowa.
Jenner is also prejudiced against transgender people. She has stated that transgender women are not actual women and should not participate in competitive sports, despite being a transgender woman who competes in sports herself.
