The Eagles have secured wide receiver AJ Brown with a three-year contract extension valued at $96 million. An NFL source has verified this information.
Reportedly, the $32 million average is the highest for any wide receiver in the league's history. The Eagles will have control of Brown until 2029.
Recently, the Eagles granted wide receiver DeVonta Smith a three-year, $75 million contract extension, which includes $54 million guaranteed.
Brown's agreement ensures $84 million. Both he and Smith have each achieved over 1,000 receiving yards for two consecutive seasons.
In his two seasons with the Eagles, Brown has accumulated 194 catches for 2,952 yards (15.2 yards per catch) and 18 touchdowns. He has reached 1,000 or more receiving yards in four of his five NFL seasons.
Brown, 26, Smith, 25, and quarterback Jalen Hurts are all signed with the Eagles for at least the next four years. Hurts has signed a five-year extension worth $255 million, with up to $179 million guaranteed.
