The Newtown Library is organizing a weekend scavenger hunt for people of all ages on May 4 and 5.
Groups will be given a list of things and locations in Newtown to find and take a picture of, then all the groups will gather at Starbucks on Sunday afternoon to compete for prizes. The top three groups with the most items will receive prizes. Also, all children up to 13 years old will get a goodie bag.
“Join forces with friends and family to locate and photograph items while exploring the beauty and history of Newtown,” the event website explained. “Demonstrate your smarts by solving clues and GPS locations as well!”
The fee is $25 per team, and all the money will go towards supporting the library.
Teams will have to take pictures and print their collections to submit them for prizes.
