Reports from local outlets indicate that Billund Airport was evacuated this morning following a bomb threat.
At approximately 11:40am today, Jyllands-Posten reported that all passengers and staff were instructed to leave the airport, citing Ekstra Bladet and TV 2.
According to Ekstra Bladet, a man has been apprehended.
Images from the location depict a man being restrained against the outer wall of the airport terminal by police.
TV Syd, citing Home Guard Command sources that provide assistance at the airport, stated that a minesweeper was en route to the airport.
Police advised people on social media not to travel to Billund Airport and confirmed a significant police presence there.
posted the message on X: ‘We are unable to share further details at this time, but we urge you not to seek out the airport. If you are in the vicinity, you must adhere to the instructions of the police.’
TV 2 reported that all flights have been suspended and travelers were instructed to monitor the airport’s website for updates.

The country’s second largest airport is situated approximately 165 miles to the west of the capital, Copenhagen, and less than two miles from Legoland.
