New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is scheduled to hold a press conference about a 4.8-magnitude earthquake that shook the New York City area Friday morning.
The center of the earthquake was in Lebanon, N.J., according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The New York City Fire Department stated it had no reports of damage currently.
The event is expected to start at 12 p.m. EDT.
