Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger has expressed her excitement about achieving a significant milestone in her portrayal of Glenda Shuttleworth.
Glenda first appeared on our screens in 2022 and has quickly become a fan favorite as one of the Rovers’ most enthusiastic barmaids.
In recent scenes, poor Glenda was left traumatized after getting caught up in a robbery, following a successful speed dating night in the backstreet pub.
The two masked men wielded baseball bats and shouted at Glenda to get on the ground, leaving her completely terrified.

Since then, Glenda has struggled with flashbacks as she has tried to recover from the horrifying ordeal.
Off-screen, actress Jodie is feeling much more positive, and recently took to Instagram to share a significant milestone.
'Don't think I’m sad but… This is a kinda pinch me moment,' she wrote, before revealing that Glenda finally had her own cast cards.
Regular characters in all of the soaps are given cast cards to give out to fans, with a picture of the character on the front.
Jodie was thrilled to finally receive hers, and concluded the post with a sweet message to her grandmother.
'I did it, Nan,' she wrote.
Jodie is having an absolute blast playing Glenda, and recently revealed that the character is someone she would be friends with in real life.
'I’d love to be friends with her. I’d love to go on a cruise with her!
'You know, the one thing, and you do speak to people in the building, they go, 'I’ve been here twenty, thirty, forty years', but it does fly.
'But I’ve had fun, it’s just everything I’ve always wanted it to be and I can’t really ask for more, I really can’t.'
In terms of what is still to come for Glenda, Jodie previously hinted at a potential love interest on the cards, and it is safe to say that she is very happy about it.
'Put it this way, I don’t know who’s more thrilled – Jodie or Glenda! There’s something on the cards, I can’t tell you who.'
