Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has received Raphael Varane, Jonny Evans and Harry Maguire returning to practice before the team's trip to Chelsea.
United lost Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof following their injuries after the game against Brentford on Saturday.
Varane left the game at half-time of that draw after a collision with Bees striker Ivan Toney.
Injured players have been a problem for United all season, which has contributed to the inconsistent style of play at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils must defeat Chelsea to keep their hopes of reaching the Champions League alive.
And the Dutchman confesses to being relieved that there are 'no more issues', and that the defensive trio has returned to practice.
'No more issues, we don't need,' Ten Hag said.
'On the frontline and midfield we are okay and we have options there but in the backline we have a lack of options but the good thing is back in practice this afternoon is Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans. Yesterday Harry Maguire was back in practice.'
Ten Hag was asked why the club is experiencing so many injuries, and while he was hesitant to share his thoughts, he mentioned that the busy schedule over the last 18 months has played a part.
'You can't prevent it, it's not only us who have had this, the standards of the Premier League from an intensity perspective are so high, the overload of the schedule, international football is so huge, we have internationals in our squad,' Ten Hag said.
'City, Liverpool and Newcastle have problems, many other teams. Currently, especially the defensive department, but the midfield and frontline players are available.'
