Some people dedicate their lives to old cars, whether fixing them or driving long distances to rallies.
Their popularity and value have increased recently.
However, some cars are abandoned and left to rust and deteriorate.
A British forest contains a large number of old cars – 50 in total, including Mercedes, Ford, and Riley One-Point-Five.
Ashley Urbex, an explorer from Milton Keynes, found out about the collection from a friend and decided to explore it. Milton Keynes, first heard of the treasure trove from a friend and knew she had to investigate.
She found them in a deteriorating barn with a slanted wooden roof and a corner of the metal roof caved in.
A beautiful collection of old cars is sadly left to decay in a Nottinghamshire forest.
Among them are an old Daimler, Rover 2300, Riley One-Point-Five, MG MGA, Triumph GT6 mk3, Austin 8, Hillman Hunter, Vanden Plas, Mercedes 220, an Austin Morris Mini, and several Fords.
‘Unfortunately, most of the cars were in bad condition,’ the 26-year-old explorer explained.
‘A lot of them are rusty and decaying, with significant weather damage.
‘Some are in better condition, somewhat protected from the weather.
‘Unfortunately, the deteriorating barns have caused damage to the cars.’
Ashley shared the discovery on her TikTok account, @ashleyurbex, and the video has gained over 35,000 views.
In the video, she can be seen exploring the old cars and showing their decaying interiors.
The explorer mentioned that it was challenging to reach some of the cars due to the overgrown location and the deteriorating barns.
‘But we ended up spending a couple of hours there since there were so many cars to see.’
