Newcastle United will make a new effort to acquire the £30 million Arsenal outcast Aaron Ramsdale in the summer during the transfer window, as per reports.
Eddie Howe’s team attempted to bring in Ramsdale in January after Nick Pope’s injury but even though the goalkeeper desired the move, he remained in north London.
Ramsdale is familiar with Howe from their time together at AFC Bournemouth and wants more regular playing time after losing his position to David Raya.
The Magpies are looking for a new goalkeeper as Martin Dubravka, currently in the starting lineup, has not been very impressive, conceding three goals in the last game.
Ramsdale is likely to leave Arsenal this summer, as per reports, and the English player is currently considering his options. Daily Mail Newcastle is interested in Ramsdale because he is only 25 years old, while their current goalkeepers Dubravka and Pope are 35 and 32 years old, respectively.

and acknowledges that he may need to leave the Emirates to revive his career. ‘You’ve got to remember what Aaron has done for Arsenal,’ Seaman said. ‘He’s got the following of the fans, everyone knows what he’s done for Arsenal.
‘I don’t want him to go. But for me, he’s too good to be a No.2. He’s still young, he’s only 24, and he’s got a lot of time to play more games and then keeping pushing for his England spot.’
Eddie Howe is a big admirer of the Arsenal player.
