A ten-year-old girl has passed away after consuming a cake her family ordered from a bakery for her birthday.
Manvi and her entire family became sick after consuming the birthday cake bought from a bakery in Patiala, Punjab, in what is thought to be a food poisoning incident.
In a video shared on social media, the young girl can be seen cutting the cake and celebrating just hours before her death.
Three hours after they had consumed the dessert, the entire family became ill, reports local media.
Manvi was taken to the hospital the next morning and was placed on oxygen and an ECG, but passed away shortly after.
