Inigo Martinez, a defender for Barcelona, approached a young fan after being made fun of as he left the club's training ground.
Martinez, who recently joined the Catalan giants after spending five and a half seasons at Athletic Bilbao, stopped his car in the middle of the road to address the young person.
Many fans often wait outside the gates of Ciutat Esportiva, Barcelona's training complex, hoping to get autographs or photos with players.
However, some fans try to create viral videos by mocking the players as they depart in their cars. TikTok Previously, Barca teammate Joao Cancelo referred to such fans as 'annoying,' and Martinez decided to approach the individual after he reportedly called the center-back a 'fool.'
'The last time you called me a fool, did you hear me? The last time you called me a fool, the last time you insult me. And your friend the same. I'll warn you,' Martinez said in a video that has since become popular on social media.
Martinez was also heard telling the fan 'don't be cocky.'
Both Martinez and the fan were eventually led away, with the Barcelona defender returning to his Range Rover before driving off.
Martinez most recently played in Barcelona's 1-0 victory over Las Palmas on Saturday as they maintained their second place position in La Liga.
The Spanish international has made 19 appearances in all competitions in his first season.
Xavi's team will next return to European competition as they play against Paris Saint-Germain, who are managed by former Barca boss Luis Enrique, in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
