Brentford striker Neal Maupay trolled Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay on social media after the teams tied 1-1 on Saturday night.
The conflict at the Gtech Community Stadium was heading for a 0-0 tie until Mason Mount fired the Red Devils ahead in the 96th minute.
United thought they had secured all three points but Kristoffer Ajer scored a dramatic 99th-minute equaliser to secure a point for the Bees.
Maupay, who has built a notorious reputation for his mind games with opponents, could not help himself from aiming a dig at United after the match.
He posted a picture of McTominay on X, formerly known as Twitter, which showed the pair tussling during the game with Maupay’s shirt appearing to be lifted up.
‘This fan was desperate for my shirt [laughing emoji],’ Maupay wrote alongside the image.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has previously admitted that Maupay winding people up ‘makes him tick’.
The 27-year-old Frenchman has been involved in fall-outs with Tottenham’s James Maddison and Manchester City’s Kyle Walker this term.
Maupay goaded Maddison by copying his darts celebration and was accused of brining up Walker’s children in an on-field spat.
The wind-up merchant was also involved in a clash with West Ham’s Kevin Nolan earlier this season.
