UConn's win over Illinois on Saturday night was an easy victory.
In many ways.
Comedians and actors Bill Murray and Larry David were part of the sellout crowd at the TD Garden in Boston, witnessing UConn defeat Illinois 77-52 and secure a spot in the Final Four.
David, seated a row back near the UConn bench, didn't try to hide his excitement, but he left before the final buzzer as the Huskies clinched the regional championship with a remarkable 30-0 run.
Also seen in the crowd was Murray, known for his roles in "Caddyshack," "Ghostsbusters," and "Groundhog Day," among other popular films.
Murray, a big sports fan born in Evanston, Ill., probably didn't find the final score amusing, despite his comedic background.
The regional at the TD Garden was a major success, with high-quality basketball and a couple of A-list celebrities in attendance.
