Congratulations are in order for Baroness Karren Brady, as she has become a grandmother!
The Apprentice star’s daughter, Sophia Peschisolido, has revealed she has given birth to a baby boy, making Baroness Brady a granny at the age of just 54.
Sophia, 26, who is a social media influencer with over 330,000 followers, revealed in November that she was expecting her first child with partner Frankie Makin.
Taking to Instagram this weekend to announce her little one’s safe arrival, she posted a carousel of sweet snaps.
In one black-and-white picture, the newborn wears a baby grow printed with the words ‘welcome to the world’ on the front.
A second photo captures her fiancé Frankie pushing their son out of the hospital in a pram, while a third is a close-up of his adorable sleeping face.
The caption read: ‘Our son, never known a love like this 28/03/24’.
It didn’t take long for the new parents to be inundated with congratulatory messages.
Lottie Tomlinson wrote: ‘🥹🥹 congratulations 💕💕’
Sydney May Crouch commented: ‘Congratulations babe!❤❤❤’
Britney De Villiers added: ‘Omg he’s here 🥹 congratulations ♥️’
When announcing her pregnancy news last year, Sophia debuted her growing bump wearing a bikini, puckering up with her other half on the beach.
With the song Heartbeat by James Arthur playing in the background, the video also showed the sweet couple at their sonogram appointment.
‘Our greatest blessing due 2024’, her caption read.
The pair’s baby joy follows their engagement in 2022, when Frankie popped the question on the sands of Mykonos, Greece.
Speaking previously about becoming a grandmother, Baroness Brady said it was ‘an incredible feeling’ when ‘your baby is having a baby.’
‘Sophia is a kind-spirited, wonderful person, she’ll make a fabulous mother,’ the proud mum told Loose Women.
She added she was ‘so happy and so excited’.
Baroness Brady went on to say Sophia would have ‘great support’ from both sides of the family, as well as her friends.
She also said that grandmothers ‘could be and should be a really important influence’ in their grandchildren’s lives, suggesting she’s going to be hands-on herself.
