Arsenal have confirmed Frida Maanum is conscious and stable after collapsing during Arsenal’s Women’s League Cup final against Chelsea.
The Gunners midfielder went down off the ball in the closing moments of normal time at Molineux on Sunday afternoon.
Medical staff came onto the field to treat her while play was stopped for seven minutes.
Maanum was given oxygen as she was removed from the field on a stretcher.
Arsenal said in a statement: ‘Frida is conscious, talking and in a stable condition.
’She will continue to be monitored closely by our medical team.’
