Kate Beckinsale has kept her fans informed with another mysterious post from the hospital.
The 50-year-old Underworld actor has shared a series of photos from a hospital bed over the past month, but has not revealed the reason for her stay.
Concerns were first raised after Mother’s Day, when Kate sent well wishes to her 'incredible mother' Judy Loe and posted pictures of herself seemingly receiving medical care.
Now, nearly three weeks later, Kate has shared her latest picture, which shows her view of her legs in a hospital bed wearing fluffy rabbit socks.
Alongside the photo, the Serendipity actor wrote: ‘Happy Easter 🐰🐇🐣’
Fans expressed new concern, with even megastar Gwen Stefani commented on the post, asking: ‘What’s wrong!!! 🙏🏻.’
Follower Nicole Tegdorf commented: ‘Happy Easter beautiful Kate. Hope you are feeling better very soon,’ while Chris Plach said: ‘Happy Easter and get well soon, your smile will be missed.’
A few days after Mother’s Day Kate posted a picture still in hospital, cuddling her beloved pet cat.
In the caption for her Mother’s Day post, Kate wrote: ‘Happy birthday and UK Mother’s Day this last week to my incredible mother.’
She thanked ‘those that love us and support us’ when times are tough, adding: ‘And for looking after our dogs when we can’t, and lead us to remember happy things when we can’t.
‘And turn up when we are sick and sit with us . . And send balloons and check in and pull us out of wells with love.’
The star concluded: ‘Thank you for loving us, those who do, and for the amazing, kindest Nick, and especially for my mother’s capacity for joy. It is so inspiring and beautiful.
‘Happy everything mama. Your fight for joy despite also welcoming tears is the experience of watching a warrior up close. I love you x.’
Kate and her family recently suffered the loss of her stepdad Roy Battersby, who had been married to her mum Judy since 1997.
‘I fought for you with everything I had. Oh Roy I am so sorry I lost,’ she wrote in tribute.
Battersby was a director for major British TV productions including Inspector Morse and Cracker, with his most recent work being an episode of A Touch Of Frost eight years ago.
Also this month, Kate marked 45 years since her dad Richard Beckinsale, who played Lennie Godber in iconic BBC comedy Porridge, died on March 19, 1979, following a heart attack.
Following the death of her stepdad too, Kate took to Instagram to share her tribute and hoped that both her dads could ‘meet in heaven’.
‘Oh. The day you died comes round so suddenly even when I’m expecting it,’ she wrote alongside some old pictures.
‘This is my initial year without any male role model for a very long time. I miss you so much. This feeling of falling endlessly feels so familiar.
‘It's so frighteningly similar to being at home and falling with no one to catch you.
Kate ended the post by saying: ‘I hope your energies have connected. I'm so thankful to have had your love. I sense it, like a reflection. X.’
