Despite the win giving Ten Hag some much needed breathing room, the United manager has had to deal with more speculation about his future recently.
England boss Gareth Southgate was connected to the United job but called such talk ‘completely disrespectful’. However, the Dutchman seems unfazed.
Ten Hag said, ‘When you work at Man United, there will always be rumors and noise surrounding the club, the manager, and the players.’
'There will always be issues to talk about. Of course, we have different interests, but we are not focusing on that.
‘We are focusing on the process, on improving the way we play. So I don’t care about it.’
