A collection of Amy Winehouse’s clothing, footwear, and even exercise videos are for sale on eBay.
The late Back to Black singer passed away at 27 in 2011, and 13 years later, her well-worn £17 Satin Aspire Ballet Shoes are being sold for £7,500 after being purchased at auction.
Amy was known for consistently wearing the same pair from British dancewear brand Freed of London, and it’s believed she would regularly buy new pairs.
One of her pairs is being sold on eBay for over 400 times the original retail price.
The listing describes the shoes as ‘very well used and owned’ by Amy herself, noting that there is ‘no size present’ but the singer ‘always wore’ a size five.
A full wardrobe of Amy’s clothing is up for sale by the same seller, who acquired them through Julien’s Auction in America back in 2021.
A portion of her belongings were auctioned by the auction house three years ago, with 30% of the $4 million earnings being donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
The charity was set up by the singer’s parents to aid vulnerable young adults dealing with addiction.
Also listed online are a black and white bamboo print dress for £10,000, which was custom made for Amy’s 2011 European tour but never worn due to her tragic death.
Graphic t-shirts are available on the site for £700 each, as well as a yellow argyle sweater for £1,200, and a black hoodie going for double that price.
Also priced at £2,400 is a complete outfit, including an American Apparel red robe, a navy Adidas skirt, and a Ralph Lauren crop top.
Yoga and ballet DVDs that belonged to Amy are also part of the sale, with prices ranging from £250 to £320.
The eBay sale follows criticism over the new biopic Back To Black, which is set to be released in cinemas across the UK next month.
