Katie Price may be in a loving relationship with a new man JJ Slater but who can forget her controversial and short-lived romance with Gareth Gates?
Still using the name Jordan at the time, the recently single fashion model took the Pop Idol singer’s virginity while expecting her first child, Harvey.
Rebounding from her brief relationship with Harvey’s father Dwight Yorke, Katie had a night of passion with a then 17-year-old Gareth, who denied it at the time.
Two decades later, the OnlyFans creator has defended the romance while appearing on the Anything Goes podcast with James English.
The pair were discussing her many high-profile relationships, including a disagreement with Victoria Beckham when he asked about ‘the thing’ with Gareth.
‘Yeah, I took his virginity when I was six months pregnant,’ she calmly answered, prompting a disapproving head shake from James.
Seeing his response, Katie laughed and responded: ‘What? You’re asking me. What you looking at, because I was pregnant? Just because I’m pregnant don’t say I can’t have a boyfriend.’
The 39-year-old initially denied their fling but later changed his story, as he explained on The Big Reunion: ‘I denied the whole Jordan thing because I was 17, I didn’t want my family to find out about my sex life.
‘If I hadn’t lied it wouldn’t have been a big deal, my family, friends and fans wouldn’t have felt as let down I guess For me I was very young, I had to say I don’t want to have a long term relationship at this age, so she sold the story, and I said it was all lies.’
The conversation quickly moved on as the host asked about another relationship where she revealed she had waited a month before sleeping with Dwight.
She heartbreakingly shared how she had gone to the abortion clinic three times, intending to abort Harvey but ‘something’ stopped her from going through with it.
Katie raised her son on her own but insisted she sent Dwight updates and has always said he is welcome to be involved in his son’s life.
‘Never taken a penny from him, don’t want his money, he can shove it up his,’ she continued.
Doting mum Katie added that Harvey is the best thing that’s ever happened to her and was the easiest pregnancy too.
There were no indications that he would have disabilities and on May 27, 2002, he was born — weighing in at 813lbs, three weeks late.
Just last week, Katie was rushing to the hospital with her eldest, who lives with dedicated carers, after revealing blood on a brick wall.
She did not clarify what happened but later showed his hand bandaged up and headed out for a night with her new man JJ.
Along with Harvey, the celebrity also has two other kids. I’m A Celeb star also has Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, who she shares with Peter Andre as well as Jett, 10, and Bunny, nine, with Kieran Hayler.
