Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi are both expected to make big moves this summer, and it's likely that interested parties will need to pay at least £50m.
Manchester United wants to sign both impressive defenders, and Liverpool is also interested in the England international Guehi.
Both Everton and Crystal Palace want to keep their young stars, but they are preparing for significant offers and will not sell them cheaply.
The Telegraph reports that both defenders are likely to be transferred for over £50m this summer. Earlier reports suggested Everton could be looking for around £100m for their young superstar, but that might be too optimistic.
Branthwaite's contract at Goodison Park runs until 2027, while Guehi's deal at Selhurst Park expires in 2026, so neither club is under intense pressure to sell in the next transfer window. Palace is likely to receive a lot of interest in other star players Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze and may consider selling Guehi to help retain their forward players.

Guehi and Branthwaite are both potential signings for Manchester United, and they are also competing for a place in Gareth Southgate's England squad this summer.
Branthwaite was called up to the international squad for the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium last week but did not play, which is not a good sign for his chances of being involved this summer.
Acquiring the center-backs will be expensive.
