KUTZTOWN — Kutztown University's College of Business, Entrepreneurial Leadership Center, and KU Small Business Development Center will host Entrepreneurship Week 2024 from April 9 to 12 to honor the entrepreneurial spirit.
This joint effort includes a series of panels, workshops, and presentations aimed at providing students and the local community with important insights, strategies, and tools for starting and improving their businesses, according to a press release.
The week-long program will include a variety of free events open to the public. Attendees are advised to RSVP at [email protected] to secure their spots. Young Entrepreneurs Panel: 11 a.m. at 101 de Francesco Building. Get a close look at the innovative ideas of student entrepreneurs as they share their experiences, insights, and advice on bringing creative ideas to fruition.
April 10
Women Entrepreneurs Panel Luncheon: 12 to 1:30 p.m. at 218 McFarland Student Union. The RSVP deadline is April 2 for a luncheon featuring accomplished women entrepreneurs who will talk about their experiences, obstacles, and achievements in the business world. Panelists include Katrin Hillner, president and CEO of PCN; Kerry Lord, founder of Kerry Lord Design; Raven Gabriele (’19), founder of The Raven 96; and Jacquelynn Beckers (’91), CEO of Thin Cow, Inc.
April 12
Societal Impact and Sustainability Panel Luncheon: 12 to 1:30 p.m. at Georgian Room, Old Main. The RSVP deadline is April 2. Get insights into the intersection of business and social responsibility from panelists who are making a positive impact in their communities. Panelists include Alexandra Ingram, founder of Make the Distinction; Keri Neidig, founder of Greater Lehigh Valley Athletics; Silvia Lucci, founder of LUVH Food; and Jim Byrnes, founder of Love Ran Red Foundation.
Apart from these panels, the KU Small Business Development Center will hold a series of workshops throughout the week to provide practical guidance and expertise.
