Manchester City starlet Oscar Bobb has praised Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard as one of the best no10s in world football.
Bobb and Odegaard will be on opposing sides when City host the Gunners in a huge Premier League title showdown at the Etihad on Sunday.
On Tuesday, they were on the same side, along with Erling Haaland, as Norway struggled to a 1-1 draw at home to Slovakia.
20-year-old Bobb scored a fantastic solo goal for his country in the 2-1 loss to Czech Republic last week and was arguably their best player on an otherwise disappointing evening on Tuesday.
Speaking after the game, the forward heaped praise on his national team captain Odegaard, saying playing alongside the Arsenal star makes life ‘much easier’.
‘It is a dream to play with Martin. Having one of the world’s best number 10s next to me makes it much easier,’ Bobb told TV2.
Bobb has made 20 appearances for City this season in all competitions, scoring twice.
Arsenal sit top of the Premier League heading into Sunday’s game with just one point separating them, Liverpool and City with 10 games of the season left.
City were boosted by Jack Grealish and Kevin de Bruyne returning to training this week but have been handed a number of injury scares during the international break.
John Stones was forced off early on in England’s friendly match against Belgium on Tuesday night, replaced after nine minutes by Joe Gomez.
Manuel Akanji meanwhile was left out of the Switzerland squad that took on Ireland after suffering a knock that ended a run of 16 straight starts for his country.
Kyle Walker was forced off in England’s defeat to Brazil on Saturday, injuring his left hamstring after sprinting back to clear an effort off the line.
All three will be considered doubts for the visit of Mikel Arteta’s side.
