Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter is speaking up against online bullies who targeted Alison Hammond was sent a with a disrespectful insult.
The This Morning presenter, 49, responded on X to a viewer who unfairly called her a ‘nasty piece of work’ and received an outpouring of support from her fans for standing up to the bully. The Bake Off viewer tagged Alison and wrote: ‘I imagine@AlisonHammond is a real nasty piece of work now, started to beleive her own hype.’
Publicly responding to the comment, Alison labeled the accusation as ‘nasty’ and encouraged the
social media user to show kindness. The day after the post, Alison replied and said: ‘Why is it that I’ll be having a lovely day and then someone who doesn’t know me writes such a nasty message. ‘Don’t @ me keep Your mean comment to yourself #bekind always.’

The Emmerdale star, who portrays Chas Dingle on the show, responded: ‘Send them my way babe.’
