Jose Mourinho insists he plans to return to football this summer after being linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
The former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham manager is currently available after he was sacked by Roma in January following a run of one win in five games.
Earlier this week, reports in Germany claimed that Mourinho is already learning German in preparation to take over at Bayern, who are looking to replace Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season.
On Sunday, Mourinho was a guest at the Moto GP in Portimao and was quizzed on his future plans.
Asked if he has received any offers, Mourinho replied: ‘Zero, zero.
‘I don’t have a club, I’m free. But I want to work, in the summer I want to work.’
Asked if he is already ruling out a return to Portugal for his next club, Mourinho said: ‘Why? Never say no, especially in football.
‘My life is football, I can train anywhere, I have no problems.’
Speaking this week, Bayern board member, Max Eberl, indicated that Mourinho is on the club’s list of candidates to replace Tuchel.
‘There are more than four, but certainly not 40 names on it,’ he told SportBILD.
‘It is our duty to think everything through – there are also unusual ideas on the list. We’re exchanging ideas in order to get the best possible essence: We need and want to get to know people and their entourage.
‘We want to identify a lot of things in advance and then hold the two or three final discussions at the end.’
When asked if Mourinho an option, Eberl replied: ‘Of course we’re also looking into coaches who are currently available.’
Mourinho has also been linked with a return to Chelsea, although club sources this month have played down the prospect of the 61-year-old replacing Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge.
