It was a gathering of EastEnders actors last night as four real-life best friends attended a fancy event on a red carpet London.
Former Albert Square actor Shaheen Jafargholi, who was the character Shakil Kazemi, attended the first showing of BBCTV series Wreck.
The event with many famous people also included Shaheen’s former co-stars from EastEnders, Tilly Keeper, (Louise Mitchell) Jasmine Armfield, (Bex Fowler) and Amy-Leigh Hickman (Linzi Bragg).
The women showed their support for their former Britain’s Got Talent star Shaheen, 27, who acts as Billy in Wreck.
In a post posted on Instagram, the actor is seen looking stylish in a furry jacket with his former EastEnders co-stars and close friends.
Shaheen, Jasmine, Tilly, and Amy-Leigh were all on EastEnders at the same time and were involved in well-known storylines.
Shaheen left the show when his character was killed in a tragic stabbing. A special episode about his funeral included real people's experiences of knife crime.
After this, Shaheen went on to join Casualty as nurse Marty Kirby. The popular character was part of some newsworthy storylines and eventually left the show earlier this year as his character became disenchanted with the job following a colleague's death.
Since leaving EastEnders Jasmine Armfield has also appeared in an episode of Casualty. She portrayed Bex Fowler from 2014 to 2020.
Tilly Keeper acted as Louise Mitchell on the show, alongside on-screen mother Lisa (Lucy Benjamin), and was also in the most recent season of Netflix’s You with Penn Badgley.
While Amy played Linzi Bragg, or Star as she was known, from 2016 to 2017.
However, her most significant role came in 2017 when she got the part of Nasreen Paracha on Ackley Bridge.
