Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal have all inquired about the availability of Real Madrid player Rodrygo.
The 23-year-old signed with Los Blancos in a €40million deal in 2019, joining fellow Brazil star Vinicius Jr in the Spanish capital.
Last November, the winger signed a new long-term contract, keeping him at the club until 2028. However, the expected arrival of Kylian Mbappe this summer has raised doubts about his future.
Mbappe will depart Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season and is believed to be joining the Spanish giants – although no move has been confirmed yet.
If the France captain goes to Real, he will be joined by another forward in the talented Endrick, another Brazilian player the club quickly secured the future of.
Real agreed to sign the then-16-year-old in December 2022. He will officially join the club in July when he turns 18.
Interest in Rodrygo has emerged from the Premier League. Sport report that both Manchester clubs, along with Arsenal and Liverpool, have inquired about his situation at Real.
However, Real have rejected that interest, considering the Brazilian as ‘non-transferable’ and the Premier League clubs interested in his services view a move for him as an ‘impossible mission’ unless the player himself pushes for a transfer.
Rodrygo’s representatives also insist the player is not considering leaving Madrid and is looking forward to the arrivals of compatriot Endrick and Mbappe.
While he knows it could mean fewer starting chances, he is enthusiastic about his future and that of the club, as per the report.
Rodrygo has played in various attacking roles under Carlo Ancelotti, mostly in wide positions, with the Italian also using him as a center forward.
This season, he has scored 13 goals and contributed eight assists in 41 appearances.
