Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich is willing to have discussions with potential buyers with Arsenal and Liverpool interested in signing him, according to reports.
The German champions are reportedly ready to sell Kimmich if the right offer comes in during the summer transfer window at the end of the season.
Kimmich, considered one of the top midfielders globally, is open to talks with five clubs – including English teams Arsenal and Liverpool.
But other Premier League teams Manchester United and Chelsea are ‘not an option’ for the 29-year-old, who is also set to decline Paris-Saint Germain.
Arsenal and Liverpool will instead compete with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona to sign Kimmich, with Manchester City also in the running.
It is believed that ‘some’ of those five clubs have already reached out to Kimmich regarding a possible move.
Newcastle United made an ambitious bid to sign Kimmich in January but he was not willing to leave Bayern Munich mid-season.
Kimmich, who will be out of contract in the summer of 2025, has played 378 matches for Bayern Munich, providing 102 assists and scoring 41 goals.
He was one of three players United had targeted for the summer transfer window along with Khephren Thuram and Jonathan David.
But Old Trafford is not considered an option for Kimmich as the Red Devils plan a major squad rebuild under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
