Kim Kardashian has become the latest celebrity to join the Kate Middleton conspiracy theories bandwagon.
The Skims founder, 43, has received backlash and praise in equal measure after writing a cheeky caption on her new Instagram post mocking the Princess of Wales’ mysterious disappearance from the public eye.
In January, Kensington Palace announced that Prince William’s wife would be taking several months away from the spotlight after undergoing abdominal surgery. However, fuel was added to the rumours and speculation when Kate, 42, shared a photo of her with her three children for Mother’s Day that had been heavily edited.
Kim has clearly been enjoying all the theories about where Kate is as she captioned her latest Instagram post, which includes photos of her posing beside a car: ‘On my way to go find Kate.’
Not everyone was impressed by the reality star making light of the princess’ health issues, with Instagram user Melissa98x stating: ‘What a f*****g idiotic caption.’
Graceofherstyle said: ‘Not you trolling Kimmie, Kate probably going through hell.’
Tatooed_mama_21 added: ‘Really? Had to get on the Kate Middleton train. I knew there was a reason I stopped watching your show.’
Predicting a storm, @maria_spicegirlsfan wrote: ‘Omg that caption is going to stir up so much more drama.’
Ekg86 threw some shade at the star and commented: ‘It’s not like people from your fam have gone into hiding (rightfully so) during pregnancy or other medical reasons… this caption isn’t it.’
Acknowledging the people laughing at Kim’s caption, Shanplus_co weighed in: ‘The world is divided into two groups. Those who are living for and those who are loathing this caption. Kimberly is mother for this caption.’
Jacobmullerhair stated in support of Kim: ‘I’m f*****g dying at the caption.’

Kim’s post came just hours after actress Blake Lively mocked Kate’s absence and Photoshop drama to promote her drinks brand.
Alongside campaign photos, the Gossip Girl star wrote: ‘I’m so excited to share this new photo I just took today to announce our 4 new @bettybuzz & @bettybooze products! Now you know why I’ve been MIA.’
The brand’s account then commented: ‘Haters will say it’s photoshop,’ clearly referring to Kate’s photo editing scandal.
Piers Morgan also had his say last week and claimed that he’s heard ‘alarming’ rumours about what’s really going on with Kate behind-the-scenes.
